I'd have to say that you're pretty much on the money. (Pun intended.) $40 is my usual, just based on what I've experienced. There have been a couple of $60 in there as well. But I won't go to $80 unless it's an extraordinary experience.

$250 out the door can get you a pretty decent escort. (non-agency of course)

Though I usually budget around $150 out the door incase I really like the provider, because I actually tip based on service, not "Pay for Service" if you know what I mean.
