Well, all I've read is that they're gonna re-open in Sept, and apparently if you call over there the answering machine will tell you the same. Didn't call it to hear for myself. Kyoto is... well, I'm content to wait 'till September and see what happens. I wouldn't think they got busted tho. It's not a high-traffic FS place smack-dab in DC, and they try to fly under the radar.
btw, just out of curiosity, what was the name of the mama-san at Kyoto?

Kyoto has reopened to some good reviews. I haven't been back yet.

Some good some bad reviews. Apparently they are busy enough to keep some hobbiest waiting 15-30mins in the rooms.
I will try to get here this week and let you guys know 1st hand.
