Currently closed. Looks like licensing issues. Perhaps someone did not renew, let it lapse. It is possible it will reopen, 50/50 shot on it being with the same girls (they may bring in licensed girls at least for the short term).

If it re-opens expect at least for a little while, reduction of services offered.

Stay safe.

Thanks for the heads-ups Rock. Heard through a reliable source that someone is in the process of buyin the old Circuit City space -lots of activity over the past 3-4 weeks may have had something to do with the closing.

They were definately visited by LE on this past Saturday night, and have been closed since. The girls have all returned to NY and are currently looking for other spa work in the NY NJ area some already working. If this spa reopens it will most likely be with a new staff.

I think if Yumi did answer and said there was a water pipe burst, she is trying not to scare away long time customers who KNOW, that after LE visits a spa service is NOT the same (at least not right away).

I predict if they reopen a serious reduction in services offered at least short term.

Same here,
Called after getting into town and looking forward to a visit but burst water pipes dammit...service and price more favorable here than many. Too bad and I am sure yumi is distrought over the lost dollars.

I spoke to one of the girls and asked why they would be using "pipe burst" story, and she said "say police come, people don't come no more"

I told her most everyone already knows the police were there, why not just assure people that once reopened it will be business as usual.

You know the saying, "can't teach an old dog new tricks" Yumi is convinced she can hide it from the customers, oh well.

Not from Maryland but it's good common sense to use the "busted water pipe" as a front for the LE action. But once word gets around that they are using it for a front, the mongers will be more cautious. I think it would be better for them to relocate but use a different name(or person) for the ownership. If they do reopen, it wont be until the dust settles but i can almost guarantee the LE will still have a eye open on them if they do.

Well there was no vice activity discovered on this visit, at the minimum the staff when they reopen will need to have the required licensing to satisfy the obvious LE check after reopening. Remember they were closed for license violations only.

It seems to me (and check me if I'm wrong) that "busting" or closing these places down is easy for The Man. Kind of like trying to get a speeder on the Beltway.
If that is true, why would the cops bother to keep an eye on any individual place?
Why would they expend the resources?
I would think that when public pressure gets to the point that they have to take action it is an easy operation.
Thoughts? Opinions?

Well just like the speeders on Beltway, the place will be known for infractions. When the LE has found a hotspot, they will continue but it also could be "off and on" so they can become unpredictable. If the business does reopen, the providers will probably be certified and mamasan will correct and look out for the infractions that made her shut down the business and hopefully keep it under control(under the radar). As i mean by "keeping an eye out" is that they don't have to visit the establishment, just cruise by and see if things are not "out of the ordinary". Just like a hotspot for speeders in an area, once the correction is made and things are back to normal, the LE will be at that spot "off and on" to be sure.

LE will also sometimes lie in wait and nail you for the odd traffic thing. I got a speeding ticket right outside of Lily's in Laurel back in 2000 or 2001 and I wasn't even doing 10 miles over. If you recall, HoCo tried to bust all the MPs in the late 1990s but the case was thrown out because the undercover LE were themselves getting hand-jobs. They really embarrassed themselves because a cop got one while wearing a wire and it was taped and the case against the MPs got thrown out! After that, I think HoCo cops deliberately started waiting in the parking lots outside MPs and hassling us on the way out.

Be that as it may, lets face it local LE is fully aware of each and every AMP in the area and what's happening at each respective parlor. As it has been stated, the fact of the matter is as long as the complaints are minimal in nature -NO HARM NO FOUL. What I do know is the RT-1 corridor from Savage to North Laurel is becoming a hotspot for the working girls. So much that the local newspaper has run two separate stories dating back to Sept'09. With that said guys keep your head on a swivel

RT-1 corridor was a hotspot for working girls 15 years ago! I think I first went to Lilly's in 1994. Until they decide to redevelop that part of the county and make it safe for yuppies and white collar families, nothing will change. Not likely this year with a recession. The fact that biz keeps coming back tells you that the cops only crack down when absolutely necessary. And they still have egg on their face from an earlier fiasco: "In 1995, police in Howard County allowed detectives to receive sexual services from masseuses. But prosecutors later dismissed the charges against nearly all of those arrested rather than expose the investigation's tactics in open court. Five years ago, Montgomery County police sent informers into massage parlors to have sex with women there. Prosecutors told police to stop the practice, which they did, and dismissed charges against the women." There's a lot more happening in HoCo than MoCo these days -- but that's cause there is a lot less development. There are a few good, but pricey tantra providers working out of apartments in MoCo (try CL) but no decent MPs. And Hobbyists should always watch their backs where ever they are.

all new staff will probably mean no more bbbj. It was rare to find a shop where EVERY girl would do it, but they didnt change the girls much so, they didn't get the experience of other spas to know better. Expect on reopen you at best will probably only get a HJ if that, maybe more later after you get to know a provider there. Chances are the providers will be from other spas meaning they 1. Know they do not have to do bbbj, and 2. if they do, it will be for more then what guys were tipping here before.

Beltsville was a rare spa, I doubt it will be what it was.
